The McKerrell/MacDonald Collection of Bagpipe Music

Simon McKerrell, as well as an award-winning competition piper and academic, was a founder member of folk group Back of the Moon with whom he toured the world. Finlay MacDonald was one of the first graduates from the BA (Scottish Music) course. He is an organiser of the highly successful Piping Live festival, a tutor at the National Piping Centre and fronts his own highly acclaimed Finlay MacDonald band.

This collection of tunes represents their first collaborative publication, much of which has been influenced by their extensive travel with traditional folk groups and pipe bands alike, and should be a valued addition to the discerning traditional musician's library.
