Description
Mopane gives a sound quality similar to old cocuswood, which is soft and mellow, due to it being very slightly lighter than the typical African blackwood used in bagpipe making. It has been used for smallpipes and borderpipes since the bellows blown pipes revival began in the early 1980’s.
This model is plain turned with button mounts. The ferrules are shown in solid nickel, but are also available in gold.
Bushes and Ringcaps, shown here with blackwood, can also come in boxwood (a creamy colour similar to real ivory), or with metal ringcaps (gold plate or nickel).
We accept a wide range of payment methods, including BACS and all common online methods.
